How much will it cost to have an initial consultation?
To have a proper understanding of your financial situation, we bear the cost of the first appointment. Once we have a good grasp of the work involved, we will advise you of any future fees.
How long do the consultation appointments go for?
Consultation appointments can go for as little as 1 hour to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of your financial situation.
What do I need to bring into my initial consultation?
Once your appointment has been booked in, we will email you a comprehensive list of things to bring in for your first appointment. Some examples of things we require are a physical copy of your drivers’ licence (or photo ID), your tax file number, statements, details on your current assets & liabilities, etc.
Are you able to tell us how much it will cost for you to provide us with advice over the phone?
Unfortunately, we are unable to do this over the phone. It is difficult for us to determine what costs might be involved without understanding your financial situation. For this reason, we bear the cost of the first appointment, and at the end of this meeting, when we have a complete understanding of the work involved, we are then able to determine any future costs.
What happens after the first meeting?
After your consultation appointment (1st appointment), your adviser will develop strategies and recommendations based on your current financial situation. Once your advice is ready, your planner will arrange for a 2nd appointment with you, where they will present your advice (Statement of Advice). Once you’re happy with your recommendations, we can arrange the necessary steps to help you put your plan into action. During your 2nd appointment, your advisor will also discuss any subsequent appointments, and what they will include if you wish to proceed.
